WHAT IS VIRGIN HAIR?

 Virgin hair is natural and unprocessed. That means it has no colors, dyes, relaxers, or other chemicals. In addition, the upper and lower ends are kept in their natural state. You'll find no damage to the structure of the hair or the cuticle. Virgin hair is found in the natural colors of it's donors, such as brown and black. However it can be colored, and when washed and dried, it will return to its natural shape without damage. Virgin hair is where the cuticles face in the same direction. You can tell that the hair is virgin because it will move more naturally and will not be stiff. With proper care, this hair can last up to 8 months to a year.

 

DO YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS SHED?

 If a company tells you that your hair extensions don’t shed they are lying to you. Any hair that has been manufactured and stitched onto a weft is entitled to minimum shedding. Our hair has minimal to no shedding. Hair extensions should be treated and cared for as you would your own natural hair. To prevent shedding we suggest sewing around the wefts of the hair instead of through the wefts.

 

HOW LONG DOES YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?

Our hair extensions can last up to 8 to 14 months with proper care or longer. Please read our Hair Care tips to find out how to properly care for your hair extensions. Not properly caring for your hair extensions can cause damage to the hair extensions. Please note, that not caring for hair properly can lead to damaged hair extensions.

WHAT COLOR IS EACH BUNDLE OF HAIR?

Each bundle of hair we sell comes in a natural dark brown color. Color may vary being that one donors hair color is not exactly the same. Unless you are ordering our colored hair extensions the color pattern will be different. We recommend you letting your hair stylist color your hair extensions for the best results.

 

CAN YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS BE DYED/FLAT IRONED?

Yes, all of our hair extensions can be colored but we recommend you consulting with a licensed colorist or your stylist before bleaching and coloring any hair extensions. We are not liable for any damaged hair extensions AFTER they have been dyed and bleached by a third party. All textures of hair can be flat ironed bone straight and curled to your liking. We recommend using heat protectant when using hot irons. For best result use titanium plated flat irons. Also remember that the more you flat iron wavy or curly hair the more they lose their wave or curl pattern.

                                                                                                                       

 

HOW MANY BUNDLES DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR A FULL HEAD SEW IN?

If you are getting a full sew-in with little leave out, the average person needs about 10 ounces of hair. We recommend  buying 3 bundles of hair for lengths 12" - 18". If you are using hair over 18" long or closing in the weave completely with no natural hair left out we suggest purchasing an additional bundle. It's always best to have more hair than run out during the middle of installation. Hair does not expire. If you are getting the hair bonded one pack is enough for five to six rows. All hair comes in 3.0- 4.0 ounces unless stated otherwise (limited edition hair). It all depends on your preference and how full and thick you like your hair. Please consult with your hairstylist.

CAN YOU MAKE CHANGES TO ORDER? 

Changes can only be made during the 3 day processing period. We strive on processing and shipping items out as soon as possible, orders cannot to be altered once items have been shipped out. 

ARE REFUNDS AVAILABLE?

Due to health reasons, we can not issue refunds or exchanges for extensions once extensions have been shipped out and retrieved by the customer. We can not fully determine if hair extensions or any other products sold by us, have been used, worn or touched. These products can cause health problems if we retrieve them from a customer in an unsanitary environment. For those reasons alone we can not issue refunds or exchanges under ANY circumstances. When ordering hair please keep this in mind.

 

If it is determined that Strands BI is at fault, we shall exchange and or refund payments or products back to customer at no cost, but shipping. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

WE WILL ONLY ISSUE THE REFUND AFTER THE PRODUCT HAS SAFELY BEEN RETURNED BACK TO US.
